Big Lazy founder Stephen Ulrich is the composer for the HBO series Bored to Death.

Big Lazy’s upcoming release Dear Trouble (Fall 2019) dwells in the landscape of noir Americana.
With a nod towards classic guitar instrumentals­ and a fiery performance style, the new album captures the essence of the trio’s legendary live shows.
The new album features luminaries of the NYC music scene including - Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Cermamic Dog), Steven Bernstein (Sex Mob),
Peter Hess (Philip Glass ensemble) and Marlysse Rose Simmons (Miramar, Bio Ritmo).
